We slept in because we didn't get back to the RV until 11:45. Dad made a great breakfast of eggs and we left the RV resort at 10:00. The drive to Tahoe City was about 45 minutes but we didn't get out because it was so crowded. Instead we continued along the road to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We drove for about one hour and fifteen minutes and during this time the kids watched a movie. We stopped at a rest stop and went to the bathroom. The rest of the drive was about 1/2 hour before we arrived at Rock Point RV Resort. It was right on the lake. The only downside is that there is no electricity and no showers or sinks in the bathrooms. We played soccer for a while and had a great dinner. We first had a lot of shrimp and then the kids had hot dogs and the parents had lamb. Max had both and after dinner all the kids played soccer again. We washed off in our shower because it was a very dusty campground, had ice cream and went to bed after a hard day.

Guten Morgen Maximilian,
den Independence Day habt ihr mit einem perfekten Feiertagsdinner abgeschlossen. Nachdem ihr eine kurze Nacht hattet, war sicher früher Bettgang angesagt.
Wie kommen Viktoria und vor allem Valentin mit der anstrengenden Reise zurecht ?
Oma Helga ist heute mit Trudel auch für eine Woche in die Ferien gefahren, ich werde unseren schönen Garten pflegen und ab und zu zum Dinner in ein Restaurant gehen.
